I was looking through my new "Newsline" that came in the mail yesterday, on pg.28 the middle picture on the last row of pictures a driver from CLT was reciving a 53 yr. safe driving award!! If this wasn't a typo it seems to me a bigger deal should be made of this than a picture buried in the middle of a bunch of other pictures in the middle of the magizine . Im proud of my driving record but 53 yrs.of safe driving isAMAZING !! HATS OFF TO YOU MR. B.

No typo and Mr. B is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.Congratulations Mr. B !!!!!!!!!

i agree just a name and number just is not good enough.pictures of a celebration for this person's accomplishment should have happened at 50 anyway.just think how this person must feel when the change in safe driving bonus was attached to his check.how much money added up would have been his just 10 years ago,20 years ago." aw man" just don't work.

Exactly OD takes pride [justly so] in doing right by its drivers.I mean, the guy presenting the award is wearing a t shirt .I know were pretty informal here, but no further than CLT is from corporate.someone representing senior management should have been present ,Hell,53 yrs. of safe driving,A terminal or something should be named for the man in MHO.

hey guys

Mr B in CLT knows everyone in upper mangement him and Earl go way back. I got to talk with Mr B in CLT and he told me some stroies about the good ol days when OD was next nothing as far as a trucking company. I am sure the people in Thomasville made a big deal out of it because he has been around for a long time and he still runs 600 miles a night to meet the Tampa guy about 50 miles south of Savannah GA every nite

When I worked at the PHX, there was a driver that had a employee number in the 200's. He had some pretty good stories, it was a lot different back when he started then what it is now.
