How can anyone say that things are not that bad. That is one of our greatest problems, apathy. If your life is OK, it does not make everything right. What we need is BROTHERHOOD. You know, where we all take care of each other and fight for what is right for each other and the next generation of Teamsters. If we don't wake up soon, there will not be a next generation of Freight Teamsters. There are several problems we are facing. The new contract with $14 per hour unlimited **** Labor, it take 3 days to get insurance and the UE. The company is taking advantage of all of these items. The IBT lies and blames our issues on George Bush and the economy. They never take responsibility for their actions. They do tell us how great they are when the organize more people outside of freight. There are a lot of Senior people that are living as there are no problems are working harder than ever. Again, if we don't wake up and take our Union and Country back, we will all be unemployed or working for slave wages. These Brothers of ours that don't think they are affected will have a rude awakening in the near future.

I don't care who is calling the shots!! it DOES matter what is right or what is wrong and what makes ( I'm sure you meant SENSE ) sense and what does not, and what is best for Holland and the rest of the Regionals.

YRC will do anything that they want to and don't care how much money they loose doing it. Just because it doesn't make any sense to a normal person doesn't matter to them. They are making a great amount of money off of Holland but try to say they aren't. They are breaking the contract daily but it takes a long time for the system to work, when it does work. We're still going through the system for the guys that were messed over nearly six months ago. DON'T EVER TRY TO SAY I'M STRADDLING THE FENCE over anything that involves my Union brothers. I was protesting this contract before you were even a member on Truckingboards, so when you try and tell me and anybody else, that will listen to your misinformed posts, that I'm not honest and straight forward with my posts, you're just showing your true inadequate mentality. I don't censor anybody that follows the rules, you are a member that has stepped over the line several times in the past and have paid the price for it. I and other Mods gave you several chances before you received any infractions and you know it. I read your little comments that you think are cute about your editing your posts to make the mean old Mod Squad happy. Why don't you get over yourself and grow up just a little bit. Lumpersam, when you first joined Truckingboards, on 4-16-2008, you were a very troubled poster, these guys torn you a new one and you deserved it. I PM'ed you and you said you were messing around, I went to bat for you and gave you some positive rep points to help you out and asked the other members to give you a chance. And they did, lately I've felt that was a major mistake on my part because you very rarely have anything positive to contribute to anybody here on Truckingboards, in my opinion. You can be a truly good poster when you want to but you like to be an agitator most of the time. I get more positive feedback than negative feedback from the other members, I try to do whats right for all of us here. Some people disagree with me and some people support me, thats just the way it is, I accept that. Don't think I or anyone else has to listen to the fertilizer that you attempt to spread, we don't. Anytime you want to debate with me that's cool, I love to discuss issues. Sometimes I'm right and sometimes I change my mind, it all fun to me, nothing personal. But when you play your childish little games, all you do is let everybody see you for who you really are.
The only time you have been edited in the past, was when you broke the rules, you weren't given an infraction for it either.
As you know, I will now delete your post and give you the appropriate infraction that you deserve. You have been warned so many times by different Mods that you don't get the same verbal warning, any longer, that other members get for a honest mistake.

I was not attacking you personally, but your defensive words show a lack of self esteem and mental control , your insults, uncalled for, I don't think that my post had any mean spirited words, the use of the term "straddling the fence" was an observation based on your previous writings. Now, could I be wrong?, sure I could, but based on my life's experiences, I kind of doubt it.

YRCW is NOT breaking the contract everyday, they are INTERPRETING the contract to their favor. The Union, meaning us, should be doing the same thing. But leadership sucks ( I hope I can use that word ), and you know why ? because WE spend more time bi***ing and moaning on some online trucking FORUM instead of writing letters and signing petitions to the leadership documenting our displeasure with this rag of a contract that 70% of our brothers agreed to.
(Me personally,I have stopped my D.R.I.V.E. contribution).

I noticed that Holland doesn't mention anything about making MONEY. We at New Penn are getting tired of making all the money and carrying Holland. So as to your post screw New Penn, just remember who pays the bills and it isn't Holland. You would do us a favor if you gave your underpriced freight to another carrier, alls it does is cut into are O/R
Are you are a misguided dumb a**! YRCW can make the numbers look any way they want. Holland had an O/R of 84% to 86% before the acquisition. We are the best next day and regional carrier period. We do not have under priced freight. If New Penn is getting the scraps that we don't want, I would look in the mirror. And on a side note, learn to spell.
If npme is soooo great and carrying everbody why dont they post the numbers?. There is no were i can find npme's O/R. What facts do u have to back this up? I can bet you have no facts all you have is hear say. You probaly believe every rumor that comes threw the break room.

Holland covers most of pa. and upstate ny. If we went strictly with holland we would lose the inbound from wilson. We lost a lot of inbound when alvin closed. As for Land Air it must be the splits because we cover all the same area.

Teamster02, We new penn interline alot of freight with holland and its working well . I know there is about 5 loads we give you each day going to ohio which is one of your break bulks i think. Now i think this put on 5 linehaul jobs for holland . We feel the same about keeping the freight in house but we the drivers dont control that.I feel same when i see union freight going to non union companys when are guys are sitting home.We dont like that you give freight to land-air nonunion but you still do in some areas up east. I say lets work together like the teamsters we are.

We (HOLLAND) had been the cash cow for the whole USF operation for many years. They (USF and YRC) have eliminated some of the dead weight, trying to become more profitable. If it is their plan to have NEW PENN pay the bills now, oh well. We were the "Chosen One" before. Now maybe it is your turn. Get used to it NEW PENN. It's part of their master plan. 
what i said was freight swapping should be between union carier and union carier not non union---- seems to me when i was driving the contract said union carier to union carrier unless the area was not covered by a union company----you would think yellow has everything covered----why give it to a non union company to deliver when you go to the same place----by the way i'm a past RED STAR driver for 25 years---- check out the days service from HOLLAND to N.E. and back----- area code 27028 to 04005 and 04005 to 27028- and you will see what i mean
