XPO | company car

can anybody really say why this is a problem dont we as drivers have other, better things to worry about
like getting home to the family safe, throwing the ball around with the kids and getting sleep for a safe day or night at work

I agree getting home safe and spending quality time with the family is our priority.
However, the original poster never said this was a problem. They just asked a question without a question mark.
The topics only 2.5 hours old, lets see if the original poster replies.
 
Actually, ANY employee is authorized to drive a company car, including DSRs, CSRs, dockworkers...I have had a driver take my car along with another driver to pick up another driver who has run out of hours...As a self-insured company, all of our employees are authorized to drive them...
 
yea we can. Three dsr's took the tm's wagon to ann arbor for the yes seminar and I had to drive a tm and sales rep home one nite
 
I'm just a lowly DSR and I've driven the company car. By the way, driving the Fusion is no big thrill. It didn't impress me at all.

You don't think someone with a company car would drive in the left lane, hammer down at 62mph, do you? I mean, only our best and brightest drive company cars, and driving in the left lane with a car governed at 62mph..... well that would be stupid.:biglaugh:
 
My husband said he was going to start carrying a chain and hook so the next time a fast FedEx flys by he's gonna catch a ride. Save fuel and get back home faster.
