Here we go again. Heard from Denver ...no more Wakenny meets is in the works. A bunch of guys just getting settled in Denver and now may have to move:hide:

What have the rest of you heard from your barns?:sadwavey:
 
Yea, a real pisspoor presentation about this and that,and oh yea we are gonna strip the good runs out of Den .There doing this for a verry good reason.....big money savings by running less miles each year. They should have to keep a couple of the WKS just to move the KCY and DEN freight ,but Im not sure.Deja vu you bet! BULLSHIT!
 
Had a Meeting and they are slowly fazing out the team runs also. There goal is to be a solo operation.

All of the new trucks that we are getting are day cabs what does that tell ya.

I can say we don't know much right now and won't for 2 or 3 weeks before we know whats going on. Some came in droped the bomb and left. Are thier changes on the way yes. They want 20 drivers in sidney,ne 10 in grand island,ne and past that we just don't know anything here till they send the paperwork132::hide:

We at the ugly red headed step children terminal (SLC) have only seen 2 of the Fedex Freight used trucks, I guess that's all we get

From what I have heard is one of the things these properties will be used for is relay points for the freight going from west to east and vice versa. What is now being run by teams will soon be run by singles and the freight will move all the way through Harrisburg and back this way.

they have placed yards in
Sidney,Ne
Grand Island,Ne
They want 20 drivers now in Sidney and 10 in Grand Island
Just guessing but they are in the right points to be relay points.
Denver is losing runs how many not known I don't like whats going on
but I see why Fedex is doing it though and it only makes since. Our question here is WHY did they ever start Denver Linehaul up and the only thing I see is that they could place drivers here faster back when L/H got started. Since the two from Fla came we have not heard anymore or seen any paperwork on whats going on so all the rest of this is just a guessing game. The only other part that was said is they want these relay points up and running frt thur them by Dec of this Yr before the new bids come out.
 
I bet before it is all done it will look like the line Haul they are giving us out west all turns and dock work for line haul.
 
I have confirmed the changes in Denver. Guess they want all the coast to coast freight up on I-80. So SLC to Wamsutter to Sidney to Grand Island to ?. Heard Denver will have jobs with some of them going into P & D. Still hiring wild teams to run out of sbr. Having a benfit meeting tomorrow but I heard coverage going to cost us more. We will see.

I posted that much, because thats all we know here till we get the paperwork:hide: and did you happen to see what yard i work out of???:smilie_132:
