FedEx Freight | Public seniority lists ?

It is in our old rules that they have one posted. I had to ask my FLC to get ours updated. (FLC = field line coordinator) Took a few days for him to find it. I would ask a Supervisor in the linehaul dept for help rather than a SC guy if he's "Not Easy to do Business with". But then I'm not dealing with Harrison yet either.

Good Luck

if you are curious about the seniority ask... its not a secret. the reason seniority lists have been removed from public viewing is to not invite those that may want to use for union organizing purposes.

Same here

:chairshot: List? We are suppose to have a list? We have a very small center so we pretty much know who is the top dog on down.

We know who's where here also. No posting needed. It just makes the:butt kiss:stand out even more. WELCOME TO THE GOOD OLE BOY NETWORK!! Don't mess with their pets or the red shirts will :nutkick: :hysterical::

Oh yea

Sure sounds like most barns back east are full of power hungry a--holes that are insistant on running things by the good ol' boy network instead of by the rules. Something to look forward to for the rest of us "converting" to the new system. The senority list is always posted at my terminal.

Get ready boys... It's coming your way. It aint about fair or right... just whats best for the company in the judges(redshirt or white shirt) eye. Dont fret though. Most of these pompus morons dont last long. They usually dig their own grave. Just stay cool...sit back and watch:popcorn:

The reason seniority lists aren't posted is a matter of company policy. You guys in the West might as well get used to it. Policy prohibits it in order to protect you from unwanted harassment from unions. You don't want your name and position posted any more than you want telemarketer calls at dinner time. I might add that if you see roldexes with employee names and phone numbers sitting on the dispatch counter, you should ask that they be removed. If they aren't contact HR. Your personal information isn't supposed to be available for public viewing and that is for your protection. It doesn't have anything to do with red shirts screwing you. I guarantee their first thoughts are getting the job done so they can go home, not working more hours to figure out how to protect 'favored' drivers or handing out work to the ones that are liked the most. We have a filing process for that and nobody tries to get filed on.

This is great news another red shirt telling us how things work at FedEx Frt. All we need is another 7-11 welcome aboard Martin's.

This is exactly right. When I went to the extra board in January I tried to make a copy of the bid sheet for reference purposes, when I was filling in for someone I wanted to know exactly who I was filling in for and all the associated start times and mileage.

My mgr told me exactly this (except for the union part) but it is information that should not be getting out.

The information on our id badges, full name, corporate id number, is there for anybody to find out anything they want to know about us. Add that with the fact we have to show our driver license everywhere we go. Don’t forget the social security number we have to provide just to get our DOT physical and to get access to make deliveries to prisons etc. I’m not too worried about a little seniority list on the wall.
