Teamster brother Ommie Tillman died of a massive heart attack during his evening shift at the Memphis terminal yesterday. Ommie was known as a true Cajun from La.looking forward to retirement next spring. Ommie you'll be missed, GRIZ
 
God bless him and his family, I hate hearing about things like this, poor guy works his ass off his whole life and doesn't get to enjoy one day of retirement. SUCKS!!
 
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. And to his coworkers as well. A death in the workplace takes a toll on the others there. I remember when a dockman was killed at Averitt - a few miles from the Memphis Yellow terminal on Shelby Drive. It affected everyone there for a long time.

Griz - I see you're from Oakland. I used to live just east of there on Hwy 64 outside of Somerville.
 
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and co-workers. God's plan for us is not always match perfectly with our plans for us.We make the plans but God draws them up.
 
sad day, I wondered if all this stress from this company gave him the heart attack? I hope the best for his family.
