Yellow | Who hasn't received their ballot yet?

Yellow and Roadway here @381 Omaha are not merged yet but sharing same barn. Yellow all got their ballots but no roadway guys have theirs yet as of today's mail
 
No Ballots at Roadway (683) as of yet. Called BA and he said he would order me one from the IBT. He said he faxed copy of members to terminal to be posted and members not recieving one have to call and request one. I thought that was there job ?
 
I called local 509 on Dec.17th he was supposed to get back to me, NO CALL, NO BALLET,
if they don't give us an extension, we should be able to grieve this, not fair at all,
even if some receive the ballot in the mail today it will never make the deadline since
mail is slow due to christmas!!
 
Not one person that I have talked to in local 222 has received their ballots. December 20...no way will any of our ballots be counted. We are being sold down the river. I was even a yes vote. This union is over...

Which way do you think the decision would go if you did grieve it? This vote(or lack thereof) was bogus from the beginning. If 10% of wages is not enough to save this company, the union will give them anything else they ask for in the future. The flood gates have opened.
 
I am out of Local 413(columbus,oh) with Yellow an have not received my ballot. I called the Local on Tues and they said that I am not the only one. Some other Yellow employees have received them. This is such a freaking joke and I don't know why us members have to vote on it when they're going to pass it anyway. This whole thing (YRC) is nothing but a train wreck and Dollar Bill and Hoffa are behind the wheel. I have very little faith in the company and union. Laid off since 11/07
 
Ballots

I contacted our local560 12/15/08 and was told they would contact the international. As of today nobody has receive a ballot from them. I guess we are not voting boys. They must be pretty confident that the vote will be yes. I hope it doesn't come back and kick them in the a**. Then again we don't mean anything, anymore, anyway.:butt kiss:
 
The decision on 10% pay cut was made in Arizona the union is just pacifying us members saying we will vote on this, I been a teamster for 28 years and ashame of what this union has become.
 
I totally agree Roady and butkus, been w/roadway 30 yrs, always liked my job,
but the last 2 plus years have been hell, moral is way down and everyone
losing faith in IBT, what a mess, sorry, didn't mean to get off subject just wanted to
recognize your posts because of no ballot.

Your right on subject. I also work for ROADWAY and my feelings are the same. Very, very disappointed in the way this union is run now. It just seems to me that the members don't matter anymore, other people will make decisions for us and we better like them. I say bullshi!!!!!!
 
It's now Sunday the 21st and still no Ballot.
Did read the wonderful little note posted from the union stating that the ballots were being REMAILED! Yeah right!!! Like they were ever mailed in the first place. If I am luckey I might see a ballot on Monday the 22nd but "OH"....thats right...I'm on a bed bid thats on call like now so it wont help even if there is a miracle in the mail tomorrow. No way could it make it to the destination in time. You people should be ashamed of yourselves in the international office. Your handling of this matter is disgraceful and perhaps it is you that should be taking a concession package to the membership in general.:chairshot:

Don't be ashamed of being a Teamster, be ashamed of what the Teamsters have become. There are still alot of us that are Teamsters Union people at heart, and a bunch that are Teamsters card carriers. You can probably tell which are which, by reading some of the posts on this site. Times change, balls shrivel.
