Where have you been we already have better service they the nonunion carriers.Don't you read the top best on time company's in trucking YRC was number one then tere were a bunch of truck load carriers and the next LTL was around 15 on service.This was in Transport topics.the company's own rag paper.Months ago.
I wanna smoke some of that. Post a link to that articule to prove it.

You guys who whine and cry are starting to make me want to puke-the vote was yes-if you are goiung to go to work and do as little as possible and just wail away like little girls, please leave the compnay and quit and take your bs to conjob or fedex. i hear they ahve tampon dispensers in every restroom-but see how much of your belklyaching they take before yourre dumped out on your asses. The company is trying to make it-last thing we need is sour pusses like some of you walking around the terminals with your blanket and pacifier boohooing. Grow a pair and go to work.

#1--u still have a job--for now. Consider urself lucky..the drivers at fdx didnt get to vote 3x....how about trying harder and not looking to screw your employer very opportunity you get..try that for once..
Its easy to see why there are only two Union LTL trucking companies left with attitudes like yours.

Did you mean not working 4-5 trailers "every" night, approximately 120-140 bills, regardless of the due date, while 30-40 employees sit at home?
You must still be earning $23.71 per hour.

Most of them guys will be offered jobs at the other terminals, The ones who don't make the cut get a nice little package to sit at home with or to enjoy while they wait to start collecting their unemployment. What do we get when we get laid-off? Just that......

Here lies the problem.......... What makes everyone think the 3rd vote is the saving of all............ WE was told they needed the "Best Contract Ever" and the "Utility Drivers" and better working conditions to Thrive and fight off the nons...... Didn't work....First round of concessions we was told this is what we need 10 percent paycuts to make it in this economy, Union and Company both agreed. Next round we was told another 5 percent and no pension payments for 18 months and we can survive and thrive and get us thru this economy Union and Company both agreed....... Didn't work........... Why does any one think this one will be any different? And what do you do when they don't........ Give more? Every other carrier in LTL is showing profits again minus Fed-Ex Freight who are being proactive and taking care of the problem when their other divisions are showing profits of 483 million for a quarter......... Why can't we? We have to have the lowest cost per employee then the others with all the givebacks and such.........

you are too right on the low cost structure..probably lower than all the nons.
Too bad servicing just the interest on the debt not to mention the principal is the prob with making any money. 3rd Q results on Fri. Ya, this contract should have come with a life-time warranty cuz no way they can't make money now even with the debt
