management came to our term 327 two weeks ago and said we wouldn't worry about service dates any more . we'll let the freight sit until we can get to it . oh yeah and they said too much overtime so they laid off another man.

no voting YES= F N your brother. 2015, people, 2015, thats how long they get to make $ off of us. Economy is picking up, slow but moving in the right direction. You have your cuts and freezes and stuff sitting stagnant till 2015. Maybe when things are rolling good, everyone is working good and companies are making a good buck, OFF OF US, they will give us some stuff back... Im sure if we ask them they will have a vote on give backs to us, before 2015.. haha. and when the contract does come around, IN 4 YEARS, you can start negotiating to get some of your stuff back... maybe we get an extra week vaca or maybe .15 cents back. Regardless, you will be asking to get back what you have just given away. Im sure this company will be more than generous...

Yep as all the yes voters said......... We will live to fight another day...... I'm sure they will say here's your week vaction back,Oh and everyone making 21.07 an hour in 2015 lets bump you up to $26.00, start paying 100 percent back into the pension plan (that won't be there then)and give you some work rules back......... Then we woke up............

Management needs to "FOCUS" on winning customers back because they are the ones who lost them........The Union people are not the "CANCER", management is the "CANCER"........I am not trying to bust your bubble but only looking at it from a correct lens......nuff said....

No, you posted what your motto was. What I'm saying is we all are not happy with the situation that we have, but we all have a job to do to survive. If we all do what YRC pays us to do hopefully things will work out. I never said go do 30 stops. Just do your part. Again by someone laying back and letting his brother Teamster's pick up the slack is F-N you brother Teamster. Just do your share.

This isn't the old days when there was plenty of freight around. I know you are smart enough to see how our economy is. So I'm just saying protect your job by doing what they pay us to do P & D and try to keep the customers.

Focus on the customer?? What are kidding me?? Yellow and Roadway lost 62% of customers in a months time due to a **** poor merger plan, not the bad economy. You lost your pension and pride, so go get em tiger!
 
Maybe you should tell the company to start servicing the company, instead of letting their freight sit for 2 or 3 days because they don't have enough employees to work it or deliver it. Just the pick ups the leave on the street every day could put a couple of guys back to work. Oh wait, that's right, then they would have to pay your health for the week. This companys biggest problem is itself and the way they attempt to manage.
