no work

If LandAir guys are staying home, times are tough.

Sorry, but in NY, LandAir prices are actually lower than Central Transport.........."that would NOT make me proud!!!!!"

Goal in trucking (business) is to make $$$$$$$$$$$!!!

You are right about that. But they are not as cheap as NEMF.

They are killing the industry. They have done that for years, the service is second rate, bad equipment so the only alternative is cheap prices.

Went by the Maine terminal (you can see it from 95),at 7:00am, pretty full 10-12 power units sitting. Went back by around 1:00 pm, one power unit one the yard. thing must be picking up.

Abington is Slammed with work, every driver goes out with 15 to 20 deliveries which doesnt include pick ups, they just hired a few new drivers to take a bite out of it. So hopefully where on the turn around.

Full trailer

I've been going out with a full trailer every day! And I've been returning with more pick ups as well.:TR10driving03:

Just wondering what they told you guy's as to why you lost all that freight that Overnite used to give you. From what I understand it used to be 4-8 trailers per day.
I'm not sure but I'm guessing that overnite is now covering these areas with there own trucks. We have not seen any freight from them in a long time!

I do not think they are as busy as the southern New England terminals. But, I know they are definately getting busy. They are great people in Maine. You should call them. They have trminals in Scarborough, Pittsfield and Houlton.

When OVNT was interlining with LAX, LAX was going to OVNT's northeast regional customers and undercutting them for the regional business. A big no-no. Thus OVNT cut their ties with LAX and went to BSP.
