If so, I am considering transferring down there when the economy turns back. But am a little intimidated by big city traffic. I've never lived in a place like that before. Is it stressful driving in it every day? Do you think Sarasota/Bradenton would be better? Prish.

i am not in tampa but have lived there.in my opinion it is probably the easist big city in florida.i am out of orlando and it is not bad either.SAR and FMY are smaller terminals and probably have more of a family feeling.OCL,WPB and POM are very similar as well.

the neighborhood the terminal is in is not classy . lots of bars on the windows in the surrounding area.it is within a couple of blocks of the main interstate (I-4) highway that runs between tampa and orlando and many nice communities within ten miles of the place.

Terminal is in a shady area. But then again upgf ,abf, benton and odfl are all within a mile of each other. As long as you stay away from the roach motel across the street from the terminal you will be ok. I worked for odfl in Tampa, for seven plus years, never had any problem with my vehicle or safety. I wouldnt hang out across the street at the gas station at 4 am for anything. And Tampa is a very easy area too learn. If nothing else a gps is less than a 150. worth every dime. good luck

the general commodity warehouses are a half mile from the hotels and downtown disney.there is a delivery road behind epcot for the countries as well as one behind Disney Hollywood studios and animal kingdom.Disney proper has a underground delivery spot behind the park where you park and walk underground to deliver.we only have one truck that goes out there and i would bet the other carriers do as well.Disney is very good at hiding their secrets from the guests.

Disney and Las Vegas really are masters at hiding reality, thats why we love them.

Its been 15 years since I was at Disneyland California, but didn't see anything that even looked like a delivery truck, remember they opened in 1956 or'57,lots of time to perfect this kind of thing.Even though the park was 40 years old when I took my 5 year old daughter and looking a little dated now(the park basicly looked the same as when I was 5)My Wife and I didn't tell her we were going there(trust me you don't tell your kid your'e going there before you start a 1400mile car ride)I'll never forget the look on her face when she realized where she was at the park entrance, thought the little girl was gonna have a heart attack. You can't beat Disneyland.
