ODFL | Update on a Friend.

Good Morning

This is for Harold L in Central. His wife asked that the we let the drivers and terminals know how he is doing. This is what his wife sent me:


We just got back from seeing Harold’s oncologist. He had a cat scan yesterday and blood work. The tumor did not shrink, but it didn’t grow either. The space in his back looked bigger, but could be scar tissue. His blood work looked good. The test that checks for cancer was down by 2 from last time. They are not going to do anything else, just keep a check on him. He goes back in 6 weeks.

He really looks good and is trying to deal with this and is handling very well.

We are planning on going camping Easter weekend. My cousin will set up the camper. This should do both of us a lot of good.

We will have to wait and see what happens after all it is not in our hands.

I use the same distribution each time so if I leave someone out please forward to whom ever you want to.

Will continue to keep you updated if things change.



ODFL: Please have someone post at each terminal. He has gotten so many calls from the drivers and we told them we would keep them posted.

Thank you very much for posting.I'm not big on praying and things like that but he has one enroute.

I'm not with OD nor do I know Harold but I said a prayer for him as soon is I read this post. Sounds like he is a very well liked guy and I pray the best for him.

Thanks,I don't believe I've ever heard a driver say anything but good about him.Think of what an achievement that is considering also he always got the job done.

We all appreciate you saying that. He is very well liked. He always has something funny to say and will always make you laugh. Not many folks can come up with good one liners off the top of their head. He is the best.
