FXF is in part, two different operations(until recently, three). FXFreight and FXNational LTL, National is loosing more money than Freight is making(From office "suits" not the CB). What the others are doing(Ground, Express, Home Delivery, Office, Air, Etc), I don't know. Was the 100mil worldwide? I don't know. PS. since the 1st week of the new bids I have hauled 5, yes only 5, empty trailers on my run and thats 50+ nights of work. But thats only my run that I know, and I'm not very high up the board. We are not yet at the 10%+ unemployment rate of the 80's. And far from the 25% of The Great Depression (what was so great about that?). Just sayin! Now lets go truk'n:red_bandana:
 
We at Averitt Express have the best management, who are so much smarter than the other guys that we are in good shape and will never have to let ANYBODY go. All you have to do is think red Instead!
 
I tell ya from personal experience that the management team at fedex freight DSM is the best in the country....put that on your purchase trailers and ship it.......wahoo

Obama hasnt even been in office for 60 days. Wow you dummies think its his fault???? The bush administation took 8 long years 2 screw this country up & after 60 days your blaming barack. Just so you know, im not an obama supporter but come on!! I hope you do notice that once bush(the oil man) got out of office the gas prices dropped. He was laughin at all of his supporters all the way 2 the bank!!!!

Accually the price of oil dropped on the heels of the investigation of "Speculating" future oil prices and the Enron loop hole.....That was before Bush was out of office.....

Here's your accounting lesson for the day (from the guy who got a D in accounting! Lucky I'm not an accountant!)

An operating margin of -6.5% means an OR of 106.5, or $1.065 in cost for every $1.00 in revenue.

Where it says, "down from 4.0% the previous year", means that we operated at a 96 OR (operating ratio) last year, keeping .04 cents on every dollar of revenue.

Personally, I liked it better when we were operating in the mid-80s or low 90s, at worst, keeping .10 or .15 cents on every dollar of revenue!

I don't know what this has to do with fedex but Michigan is a great state I love it up there great people also where we go to the UP. They have kooks running the state that love to raise taxes and then can't figure why every one leaves the state but I love Michigan it would be a great place to live if it weren't for all the yankee's . :-))
 
I personaly like it when you guys get all fired up , continue to post what you like you have my permission - and Michigan sucks !
