Don't recall ever having President's day, and I still take every Labor Day off, as I suspect you do as well...I know this because I usually labor at home on that day..She doesn't see it as my holiday...perhaps that may be the source of your confusion.
You are right about Labor Day, I meant Veterans Day. I'll have to go way back to some of my original paperwork about Presidents Day.

Keep puttin' those resumes out there...as soon as you find someone who matches your pay, gives you the benefits you want to retire on, plus the 5-6 weeks a year you are getting off ( I assume you are a 20 year guy, you talk as if you are), please let the rest of us know, as we will be in line behind you..

Dear BB, IT wasn't to long ago that i felt security knowing that i would be retiring as a conway employee, I truly felt it! but at this time i don't. Yep! Times are hard we know. I'm finding it hard to understand what direction this new brand of leadership is taking OUR company. My guess would be global, and in the process they left John L. behind trying to hold Conway Freight (BIG BROTHER WITH DEEP POCKETS) together. From my veiw the only good decision they have made in the past 5 years is the purchase of CFI. Should've done this long before trying to start up TL on our own. Dont know much about Chic logistic and Cougar exspress, only cost us aprox. 94 mil. You think we spent to much money in such a short time? I do! Almost a billion. The best is yet to come, with all these discounts running around out there YRC probably won't survive, and when that happens there'll be alot of slip setting going on. I know i'll be okay. I'll just watch the freight flow. There will be a line forming soon. Thanks for being on here with us, Ive invited my SCM to join us on this forum, but i don't think he's got the hmmmmmmm :duh: Somebody help me out here !
