Yellow | 42 million by the end of april

is this true YRC has to come up with 42 million by the end of april to survive, wow

If someone could find the transcript from the 1Q meetng YRCW had....I beleive there was a mention of a SAVINGS of $150 million after the merger.....and that $42M would be in the 2Q and each Q after that would show savings up to $150M for the year 2009?

Anybody got that transcript link?.....KK

OMG were DOOMED! :TR10driving03:

Didn't they just get like 150mil from the "sale-lease deal"? I'd have to go back and do some digging, but I know it was over 100mil. And I think thier set to get the remainder sometime soon.

If the give back was fairly accurate, they've pocketed around 50 million just this past first Q. Wasnt it supposed to save like 200-250mil a year?

Now I know they have done some pretty stupid stuff, but I doubt they are really stressing over a 43milion pymt. If it is true. I know when my mortage is due, and it's in the bank. Not much else in there, but I got that covered for sure.

No big deal, now can we talk about something else? sigh

NOW THAT IS FUNNY!

Nice edit, now that I look at it......I love it! That's exactly what I was trying to convey to my brethren! And it express' my feelings for all these Bull ::shit:: Doom and Gloom post's in so few words. Thanks for the help Annieo. :highfive:

LOL, working for YRCW has got me thinking that I need to go to the library and rent the kid's book where Chicken Little kept thinking the sky is falling. I have forgotten how the townsfolk delt with it and I'm at my wits end.

Your TM knows about as much as you do about yrc's financial obligations. If there is anything I've learned in my 11 years in this buisiness it's that truck drivers are like a bunch of old ladies. It's all gossip and anything can happen, we will all be the last to know so just go along for the ride like the rest of us.

If so, just with the 10% they should have that much lying around. 10% since jan, approx 4 mil + wk, yea they should have it , unless they pi$$ed it away.:d6625240::d6625240:

wheelhoarse69 or whatever you are called. how can you be working with less than one year of seniority? i thought seniority always prevails. what's the deal?

If we're that cash stapped shouldn't they suspend the purchase of new equipment for a few years. I take it the thinking is in order to be like nobody else we have to work and live like nobody else.
