Friday will be 1 year since the tornado passed within about a half mile from GBO

Today I took this pic as I walked to my pickup to go home... about 30 seconds later it was raining so hard you could hardly see.... anybody think this was a funnel cloud or just a cloud that looks like one?

What the Hell are those RED Things,i thought we had all white trucks
 
Was their any rotation in the clouds? Were the clouds a weird greenish color? If no is the answer to either question then no it was only a large low hanging cloud.

There is no shortage of people that would swear that weird greenish clouds in my vicinity have nothing to do with the weather. Whether or not they are rotating.
 
there was one spotted a couple miles away and confirmed, this may be the same one
 
Local weather guy say it appeared that this was a rotating funnel cloud but did not touch down
 
I hate the snow,rain and cold weather we always have up here in the North East, But that is some scary weather you guy's get down south.

Looks like a huge wall cloud that could very likely drop a tornado, I think the mess toward the bottom is rain.

the only sure way 2 know if it was a funnal cloud is 2 look at it and try to determin if it was having funn:biglaugh:
 
Like most people in the south when the tornado sirens start going off they all go outside to see if they can actually see the tornado.
 
:popcorn: When I was 7 we got bounced around by a tornado in Conway, Arkansas. Lucky for us it veered off to the northeast. When I looked at it it looked really white. The weather guy said one time that is the sun shining behind it or in front of it can't remember for sure.
