Sales Rep in Nashville demoted? What happened. As a competitor, can tell you the guy had a lot of freight.

I do not know if was him or not, but I understand that a Rep. of some sort got in trouble at the Roberts horse farm in Ocala.

What has anyones personal life got to do with the running of this company? We all have personal problems, some worse than others. I may sound heartless, but there have been many times that I have had to go into work with things happening at my house. At least I am there everyday to be involved in my life-instead of a spectator out on the road. No one owes me a living or is indebted to pay my bills. I have to try to keep my head and do my job. The first lesson you should have learned when you came to work here is that the only thing that matters is the freight-if you haven't learned that yet now is the time to learn it. It can be alittle rough to deal with at times, but it is the foundation of what keeps this company profitable and keeps us working.

whatever you say.... so you are saying the company is profitable?! so where were the cost of living increases???

of course he did - zimmerman made sure another r&l long-term employee bit the dust to make room for a yrc person in need of a job....

starting to target r&l terminal managers - going to replace them with yrc....

time to wake up r&l and see what is happening!

The NAS sales guy Joe was 61 years old, used all his money for retirement to take care of his wife for the last two years. She dies ---- He gets fired, broke. The Roberts could have let him work another year to get thru the pain. Now he deals with no wife and no job. In the words of one of the owners "It was a great day for R&L" Roberts clan do you remember which one of you continued to say this when you started the YRC/Holland onslot??? I remember very well as do many others.
