The Chicago bid for Dockman was posted. I counted about 570 positions. That is down about 200. At one time Roadway alone had 750 on thier list. Yellow guys said they had at least 600.
 
ms annieo sorry i confused u but u have probably never seen something like this. in cnc or 653 they can lay off drivers & still work them as casuals. so if they laid off 3 the 3 can work at their discretion on a trip to trip basis. i dont agree with this but as a peon what do i know. i expect sundrop can expand on this. good luck mam, im a gone.

Is K.C. (342/326) the only place that is working laid off road 3/4 days a week in the city? Not to mention there road calls! This thread is totally depressing!!
