Is there some way to get a petition going to say enough is enough and send it to Jr? Maybe if we do more than just write words on the board we could be heard. Have one petition typed and each person take it to their barn had have everyone sign it. Its got to be better than just wishing and hoping on the boards. Dont get me wrong, its great to be able to sound off here, but the right people arent hearing. I would be happy to type something or help someone get this going. Bring it to work on Monday (if we are still open) and fax to the International. It couldnt hurt. Im so sick and tired of all the bull. Zollars isnt and wont hurt if we go down. I would love to give 10% OF $4 MILLION!!!! This is just a suggestion. Let me know what you think. Im a 20% family now cause my husband also works for Holland. Dont mean to offend anyone but we have to do something before its too late and it sure couldnt hurt.

The day we say enough is enough yrc is done. hoffa didn't create the mess were in.we elected hoffa and Johnson ,because we trusted them to do what is best for the members, and unfortunately hoffa is going to be the bad guy because he is going to have to negotiate concessions to protect everyone at yrc.. we all made a pretty good wage for years, and now its time to give back because all are jobs are stake. too may people lived above their means ,not enough people learned anything from the greatdepression.us you find thing are to unbearable at yrc ,go find another job, there are a lot of people that jump to take your place.i have 5 friends with college degrees and are very skilled and unemployed.i really believe if they fix the pension mess we will be all right, its just going to take sacrifices from all of us.

I put a posting up at work 10 days ago when Hoffa officialy announced the reopening, give my views and the phone number to the hall. To date I am the only one that talked to BA. Apparently not many think its enough or care one way or the other. By staying on the side lines they can whine about the outcome no matter how it goes down!!!:ranting2:

The part about people with college degrees having a tough time is correct. I know a lot of people from church having a tough time.

Hoffa and Johnson wanting to roll over every time this company crys poor is their fault and they are the bad guy. The solution they will come up with will be like giving a crack addict $5 for food. They won't spend the money wisely or how they say they will.

conner3967 you made a really good post and I mean no disrespect. But this so called "pension mess" only concerns YRC, Holland & New Penn. It is my understanding that YRCW's financial problems are a lot bigger than just supporting the "orphans". IMO this pension issue is just a smokescreen.

The biggest problem I see, about signing a petition, is you can not get 10 teamsters to stick together on anything. Everyone is out for themselves, plain and simple.:puke::eck15:

Well a lot of you voted for him or maybe you didn't even vote.I know it gets knocked a lot but there is a TDU convention in November. You don't have to be a member to go but you might be surprised as to the information you can get there. Much much more then most locals tell you.Like Paul Harvey says the rest of the story.Number one no matter what you do GET INVOLVED that is the best tool anyone can do.Get to your local meetings and speak up the squeey wheel will get the oil!

I agree with truckinusa . I don't want to give more money to the same people still running this company . I don't have any faith in their abilities or their intentions . These are the same people that went on the crazy buying spree , waited to long to merge the companies , had one big , costly change of operation after another just to have more to reverse them , want the contract ( that was negotiated and ratified just over a year ago ) re-opened a second or maybe third time , etc.... Enough is enough ! If they want more from us , then lets see some real concessions and managerial changes from them , first !!

If you want to do a petition or whatever that is needs to be said. We all understand the situatiuon (don't like it but understand) and the leadership of the company has not proven they can get it right. Until the leadership of this company changes why should the employees keep trying to bail them out. They need to take ownership of what they have done and admit they don't have what it takes. They need to sacrifice since they are the ones who created this mess.
