FedEx Freight | Wrote up again.

And your point is................... When we screw up as members on here we get our hands slapped my MODERATORS, Whats the difference? Their are rules and regs for everything! ( dodn't these moderators realize disgruntled members make crappy members ) GET MY POINT!

I did it for you .. one day off for your smart mouth .. dont ever call out the mods here ..

If you try and report it to HR, they seem not to believe you...
I also wanted to add this.....

Some companies have what is called an "open door policy", which supposedly gives the employees the opportunity to communicate with their immediate supervisors and managers to get problems resolved. Then if the employee doesn't get the results that they were looking for they can move up the food chain to try to get the results that they were looking for by contacting a provided phone number.

And some companies also have what's called an "ethics hotline", which supposedly allows you to contact the upper brass to report ethics violations while remaining anonymous.

Personally, I think that both of these programs are nothing short of a paper job. I know of a few people who have reported things that shouldn't have been going on, but nothing was ever changed after it was reported. I think that the larger companies need these programs to qualify for certain things in business. They are just another piece of paper hanging on our bulletin boards as far as I'm concerned. As long as the "good ol' boys club" members are the ones policing each other.....nobody gets in trouble for their actions or violations. Hopefully your company handles these issues differently than mine does.

At my service center, the FLC just hands us back our logs or vir's for corrections. We make the corrections and give them back to him. He's happy, I'm happy and life goes on. I guess that is the difference between a manager, and a micro manager.

When I was working (retired now) I was told that it was a "snap shot" item and they where just covering their a$$..

Ok I am trying to respong to every post today but wonderring has me confused that is by far the best damm profile pic I have ever seen and i dont even remember the reason for post but I want a phone number if that is you

Wow, that was hard to read...have you been drinking today? You are slurring your typing! lol

It is a snapshot audit item which is where the fear comes and rolls down the hill. The sad part about snap short is I have watched out place pass the state inspection with flying colors and yet fail snapshot. To have procedures in place to maintain compliance is good but sometimes the procedures get too extreme which I disagree with.

The writeups are being pushed by some. My personal feeling is that most of us are adults and a quick conversation to the side fixes most issues. I can understand if you did it over and over and then obviously you aren't learning and need to progress but I hate to document things right off the bat unless it is necesary as I know I am not perfect and neither is anybody else,

HR is a joke all around. Don't kid yourself into thinking most management have an inside track with them. Upper management maybe but not the redshirts.

wait till they check your uniform under your snowmobile suit while your dock training!!! LOL...you still have to be dressed as if you were driving!! I didn't have a purple shirt on amoungst my 6 layers and took a hit...lol. It was 13 degrees that night. Get use to writeups and "coaching sessions"

Actually you guys are more laid back then us on write ups ask the Term Manager in CMH he got hit was some questions that made him look very puzzled. So you guys get fired if you don't put your meal break down on your logs? We get points for missing our meal break and the 5th time you are fired.

Well ... you still need you ID badge out ...but we can wear most anything to stay warm on the dock here.

6 layers ???? I could not even move with that much on ...13 degrees ..wouldn't be much moving going on either ...I'd be froze up ... :hide:
