I remember Fowler Williams. They had a terminal not far from my house. On 611 just outside of Stroudsburg.

I cant say I knew of the on in stroud, but the one in scranton was by the lackawanna river in north scranton, I believe they may of been taken over by lenord tose and company, the former owner of the phila. eagles

Danggg! I know you yellow drivers arent talking about ugly trucks! Them boys at Estes drive some pretty new equipment. YOU MUST OF FORGOT THE SORRY PIECES OF CRAP THAT YOU BOYS DRIVE! To you guys a brand new truck is a ten year old truck from Penske or a ten year old truck from American Freightways. I love them Old raggydy trals you guys pull. I done heard it all! OOhh how bout the volkswagen bugs that you guys use as dollies. When were those things built . I guess sometime around WW2.:nutkick::nutkick::nutkick:

Estes doesn't run all Yellow red and Black tractorsd. I talked to an estes driver the other day coming down Flagstaff towards Holbrook who had a white tractor with the Estes logo on it he said he runs from Briar patch to Gallup on a turn every night. At first I thought he might be an owner operator. But he said he was a co. driver.

Those white trucks used to be G.I. trucks. They just removed the red, white, and blue G.I. Trucking Company stickers and replaced them with Estes stickers. T Elvis out....

Yea, and that new YRC logo.... Totally awesome.:biglaugh:

Hey now! Left YRC two months ago and now work for Central.... our trucks look alright....trailers aren't bad. The Maroons are cheap as hell though. Business has been booming lately but they won't even pay for an interior light in the trucks. The TM tells the drivers to buy a flashlight if they want to update their log book in the truck.....otherwise do it in the office!

LOL! Maybe the bosses know something we don't and painted them YELLOW for a reason! Maybe they had a crystal ball! Besides who sees the color at night anyway? To me it's well maintained, I'm paid well, we have freight, we aren't in debt, and if Rob wanted to paint them chartreuse I wouldn't care as I know the paycheck will be in the bank the following week. If I look like a clown wagon, at least I'm being paid well and working during this depression. I'll drive it anywhere, anytime. Very funny!
