That is because the PAY PERIOD began is JUNE. Not in JULY. The first pay period in JULY.

Temporary suspension of raises?
I was told back in April that all raises were "temporarily suspended" due to the economy. It rang true here... no one got raises. I don't know if it's a regional thing or not...? We're in the South East.... I know it wasn't just my terminal, I heard from people at other terminals that they didn't get theirs either. My outbound supervisor said that they froze his raise LAST year. Who knows if that's really true though.

Ohhhhh NO!!!! They are to go by the contract.. No ands ifs or buts!!!! They would need to go through the union first before they take action like that!!! Get down to the union hall and start crawling up their a**es and fight for this!!!

Well what she is saying is true .All UPS managmant raises were frozen along with their bonuses and 401 k matches . To bad they coudnt find some Idiots to write them a contract. Having a bad day are we?

If you are a represented location .The company is obligated to follow our collective bargaining agreement.And this includes the raises spelled out there. So putting a freeze or holding them back is not an option .

From what she said it was ALL raises... BTW... You would have a bad day also if you haven't worked for the last 3 weeks!!! I'm just speaking my mind about stuff on here since I have nothing else better to do!!!

I didn't get my raise, I'm Dock w/ CDL, gotta get with my Steward on this one. Other drivers at my location received their raises.

they didn't give the raise on July 1st as stated in contract, their using/twisting the contract language to wait till next full week to start giving raises, althought the last two we got mid week....check your stubs....we've greived and deadlocked this on the local level this week.. Raises were on todays checks, they owe us 3 days and a holiday at new rate.
