The rumor from the YRC guys is that Zollars will be leaving sometime in the next 60 days. Has anyone heard this ? And more importantly, is there any proof ? ... The big "Z" , El Presidente , The Devil himself ? " He was just here, I can still smell the sulphur" Oh Thank my Lucky (YRC stock owning) Stars .. Could it be ? Ding Dong, the witch is dead, the wicked witch, the wicked witch is dead. I hope I'm not celebrating too soon ..
 
Hopefully it makes a huge difference. Maybe not but we can hope......If nothing else we can be happy the biggest idiot is gone.
 
All of us might be leaving with in 60 days the way things are looking. There's a YRC trailer sitting at a bank in Overland Park KS. getting 12 million in small unmarked bills for Bill right now!

That one has been coming and going for quite a while now.

they both have been losing money too, but a bad coach always looks good when the team wins you know what I mean? but the week economy did exposed all his bonehead moves

i think now this guy is really trying to save the company, I mean all these moves he is making are desperation things,like cutbacks and selling land or gear, this is just moves you do when the end is near. most CEOs would of jumped ship by now right?

No. he's trying to pad his golden parachute. he hasn't done anything to try to save the company. He has taken from the workers but he has not given anything. Nor does he intend to. He needs though.
 
Here's another one of Zollars's apology letters after another one of his major blunders, if his lips are moving he's doing something wrong.

No, a bunch of Zollars guys would not be left behind. When Zollars came 11 years ago he fired everybody under him and started new. Thats why if you hear about a V.P. who has been around for 30 years, he was a Roadway guy. The Yellow Roadway merger kept these guys by agreement 5 years ago. However a new CEO from the outside would completely clean house. The old Roadway guys have their 30 plus years to get their full retirement (that by the way is guaranteed) and the loosers Zollars brought in would be gone with 1 year severance. It will cost millions to put these guys on the street, but it will be worth it. I'm certain the board will bring in somebody with a proven track record, and that new CEO will want his own people.
 
We were told at our union 'give back the money 'meeting that Zollars is done,this coming from the higher ups in the union.
 
your counting on the board of directors to do the right thing? they are the ones who let BZ do all he has done,and approved his compensation and everything else. if he would leave now, there isn't enought time to find a whole new management team and a board of dirctors,to save this yrcw deal. he might as well stay on till the ship sinks.at least he has been able to bullshit wallstreet and the banks in to keeping this abortion alive so far. when the ship sinks his name will also,and at least his golden parechute will shrink greatly in a bk fileing. not enough to satisfy most of us here, but he won't get the 14 million he could get.
 
Zollars IS leaving! Right now he's loading 14 million cash in a Lear jet he got from YRC as a bonus and headed for the Bahamas. His last statement ,THANKS SUCKERS SEE YA IN THE FUNNY PAPERS!!
 
I believe had USF been left alone from grubby YRC fingers we would be doing just fine in this economy and maybe leading the country in LTL! What a huge shame. Disgusting.
 
Give me a break I'm so tired of hearing if Yellow hadn't bought us....evidently your previous owners knew more than you ---Why do you think they sold you? Maybe take the money and run comes to mind if you were doing sooooo great they never would have sold......Get over it!
