Reddaway | Is Zollars leaving?

they both have been losing money too, but a bad coach always looks good when the team wins you know what I mean? but the week economy did exposed all his bonehead moves

you need to look again UPSF and FEDEX and CONWAY all made money the last 2 quarters and upsf and fedex will be here when we are all gone

Reddaway and New Penn are making money. We will be sold as an asset by YRC now or sold as an asset by the courts when YRC files for B K

Unfortunatly you will go right with them because you are, YRC Reddaway. You are not USF. No separation anymore.

You're incorrect, it's just Reddaway. Reddaway is owned by the parent company YRCW (a holding company) not YRC. YRCW also owns YRC (Yellow and Roadway), Holland, New Penn, YRC Glenn More and a few other company's in different countries. Any one or all of these company's could be sold, traded, merged, spun off or shutdown by YRCW at any time.

Yes it could be shut, traded or sold. However you shut bad operations, you sell good operations. I believe we are profitable, and desirable in the market place. I believe that an offer was made to buy us, and YRC just wanted more, which means we will sell when the price is right, or a BK judge orders us sold to the highest bidder. More importantly I believe that our operating ratio is under reported, because YRC keeps moving the goal posts. Every time a terminal does well, YRC adjusts the fees and rent that terminal is paying to the parent corporation, so that it always looks like Reddaway is just barely getting by. And yes they can legally do that, they own us. Remember they payed 1.4 billion in YRC stock for us valued at 48 dollars a share. Now that the stock is 2 bucks, how much did they pay for all of USF ? .... about 5% of its value

Use General Motors to make your point about YRCW.
GM goes into Bankruptcy and they can close (Pontiac) , spin off , merge , or sell (Saab , Saturn , Hummer). GM is left with Chevy , GMC , Buick , and Caddy.

The rumor from the YRC guys is that Zollars will be leaving sometime in the next 60 days. Has anyone heard this ? And more importantly, is there any proof ? ... The big "Z" , El Presidente , The Devil himself ? " He was just here, I can still smell the sulphur" Oh Thank my Lucky (YRC stock owning) Stars .. Could it be ? Ding Dong, the witch is dead, the wicked witch, the wicked witch is dead. I hope I'm not celebrating too soon ..
for what it's worth i heard on thurs. night zollars had been fired. i have yet to be able to confirm this so i doubt if it's true..

for the record

thankx for setting him straight... If he knew a bit more about bussiness, he would know that.We are simply held by yrcw....Yes they could do with us whatever they want, but yrc cannot,,,:ranting2:

YRC or YRCW, in other words YRC Worldwide. Do you correct anybody who says Pepsi ? Do you feel the need to tell them actually its "Pepsi Bottle and Beverage" . I own the stock and read the reports, I hope nobody says "IRS" around you. You might feel the need to explain to them their mistake.

If you're referring to my correction about YRC & YRCW, it's confusing to some people because they think we're talking about Yellow/Roadway the company and not Yellow/Roadway the holding company. Please follow rule 3 and attack the post if you feel I'm incorrect about something but never attack the poster. And to think I even gave you some positive rep points earlier tonight. Sorry if you disagree with my point about YRC and YRCW being different, that's all part of posting on message boards.

Not directed at you, did not even look at who posted, did not use your name. Directed at all who correct others over technicalites like spelling, or other non issues. Dont be offended, I think you do a great job.

I say coke not pepsi

There is no "in other words" YRC or YRCW... yrc as you now know, in just another company under the YRCW hand. just like reddaway and holland..Do your reports tell you that the stock you "own" is worthless? If it don't I'm here to "explain your mistake" of thinking you have something of value...

I bought low, very low. I've made a few dollars as it channels between 2 and 3 bucks

We were told at our union 'give back the money 'meeting that Zollars is done, this coming from the higher ups in the union.

This is the same exact information I got at my give back meeting last November before the first vote. That is why I posted my thread about GINORMOUS NEWS. However, since the cat is out of the bag, I feel I can come forward and be on the same page with everyone else.

Agreed, If Bill were to go, Either Mike Schmid would take over or the banks or investors would impose a CEO of their own chooseing. Unfotunately, since that first vote, Bill has padded his golden parachute to the point that, his leaving, would economically seal our fate. :TR10driving03:
