My advice is .
When your on wet roads summer rains,or winter snow.
Bob tailing is like driving a go-cart they are very light, and a short wheel base.
The best thing is to have plenty of room between you and the vehicle ahead, try driving a little under the speed limit as not to slow traffic.
But whatever you do do not put yourself in a situation where you have to mash the brakes, because you will be out of control big time.

One time I was bob tailing back from the rail yard in a snowstorm around 3am. The road was ice and snow, I had my flashers on and was going about 25mph on the I-25 flyover over I-40 way up in the air. Suddenly I saw a car coming up behind me going too fast, the driver shot around me and then decided to move back over into my lane with a quick move. I had a feeling she was going to lose it and sure enough she fishtailed, over corrected and slide right into the barrier separating her from a hundred foot plunge off the overpass. I didn't want to touch my brakes or I would end up doing the same thing, so I just let off the throttle and aimed where she was hoping that her momentum bouncing off the wall would clear the way for me to pass. Sure enough she hit hard enough that she bounced back into the hammer lane giving me just a foot or two and maybe half a second of grace before I would have t-boned her.
