does any body know where i can fine any info on charlton brothers trucking,also looking for any thing with there logo on,they belong to teamsters 992 hagerstown md,but close up in 1996,my grandfather,and auncle retired from there,would like some items and info about the company,thanks[ base]

I'm asking if the majority (that means 50% +1) vote no would Jimmy and the dog and pony show reverse the results saying their doing it in the best interest of the members.

I would think he would do what ever he has to do to save the union and the pensions. I know he can overrule and veto a vote for contractual issues, Im not sure if this falls under he power to veto or not.

Why doesn't he veto all the votes now that were done (before) the approved loan? Have another nation-wide vote, since YRC has the cash to spend. So YRC can't play games of diverting the freight around Chicago, or any other city in the future.

It is very dissappointing to read all the bickering back and forth. Will the 705 vote on whether or not to give up pension contributions be fair and honest? NO QUESTION, YES!!!! Will the International over turn the results, ONLY time will answer that.

I agree. Thats is why there should be another Nation-wide vote again. Everyone is taking concessions except for the Upper-Management of YRC. $800,000 just to sign a contract to stay with YRC. They will never reveal what Vicks is making yearly. It is simular to the NFL. A player gets paid 1 mill just to sign on a contract on a 10.5 mill/3 yr working contract. YRC has the money to pay into the pension. It is just how willing are we going to allow YRC to get away with. The mind games are not working in Chicago. The IBT should Veto all the votes from before the loan approval. YRC has the money now. How can anyone work on broken promises and lies? Money talks and bullshit walks.

Thats because for the most part there are no minds to work on.!!!!! Its all about me in Chicago. Lets just see how it works out. So far lets see you've lost jobs. More jobs. there runniung frieght all around you. More freight to be run around you. I'm tryin to help you specail need teamsters out there understand. Are all the real Teamsters going to be put out to pasture?

YRC is starting with Chicago once again. Honestly, it won't just start and stop there? Eventually, YRC will do it to everyone in their area to get what they want sooner or later. What comes around, goes around. Fight it now, or suffer later. Company men usually never know the difference until it is too late anyway. IMO, it must be a R****** thing. Being ignorant to other members who actually give a ::shit:: about their pensions. What is a job without a pension/retirement? A non-union one. I am not going down that road just because everone else is, but I am sure YRC is happy with the people who have the change of heart. Now what if Chicago was out of out of the picture? I just hope that certain person makes another video, or someone else gets another $800,000 contract to stay with company. So I can sit back and laugh on everyone's stupidity and ignorance on allowing it to continue further. Because, it is some of the people's ignorance that is blinding them of the reality of the situation. YRC loves to take advantage of their employees who are uneducated, if people are so willingly and freely letting YRC to get away with it.

I want that pension money to be paid in as much as anybody does. But, we have a couple months before a huge bill has to be paid. (45 million dollars, I believe) They do not have the money to pay into the pension and get enough money saved to pay this bill, all at the same time. I am as pissed off as anyone about the Wicks $800,000 payment. This money should have been used as savings for this upcoming payment. Once again, I say that who ever authorized this payment to him should be fired. If they continue their stupidity, they will be crying again when the payment comes due. I don't think that they have the money to start putting it back into the pension, and it's obvious why they don't.

you all are lucky they are just getting around to you. rest of us have already had to dance this dance to survive.

Well in Chicago we don't give up so easily like the South did in the Civil War. We don't do the square dancing neither. How many times did we revote on this already? I have said it once and I will say it again. It must be an old R****** thing to a new YRC thing. To give up everything without a fight/dance. Give up hourly pay, cheat on logbook, run illegal, give up wages, and now pension. Those are good symptoms of a non-union driver. Basically, everyone now wants to be a company slave and expects Chicago to do the same. It must be that ignorant, Southern Pride that blinds reality. YRC doesn't explain things to farmers, they just take from them. It looks like Chicago/Land of Lincoln has to do all the (Civil War) fighting for everyone once again.

Is it a Southern Pride thing to give up or dance? I am still trying to learn and figure out the culture of the Southern Pride. I even watched the Discovery Channel about the Southern Pride, at least I thought it was the Discovery Channel. I couldn't figure out why the people in the audience kept standing up and shouting,...... JERRY, JERRY, JERRY!!! There is a lot of Southern dancing on that show.
 
i wouldnt know im from the north . and have enough sense to of learned to fight another day rather then abandon ship then sink that ship with every1 else left hanging on for there lifes
