while checking out careers on southeastern's web site i noticed a list of 16 locations you can apply for and then a seperate list of 61 locations. why do they have 2 different lists. i'm guessing the 16 locations are places that actually do need immediate help while the other 61 will just receive and hold on to your application in case anything pops up. can anyone fill me in?

I wondered the same thing. I am assuming you are right; the 61 may be "accepting applications." I looked at the Greensboro facility (one of the 61), and it has openings for mechanics.

I applied in Hickory for a driver position....I have family down there and, if I got on, would be worth the move.

The best thing to do is to apply online at any location, then call the service center and ask to speak to either the Terminal Manager, or the Safety/Driver Trainer. Don' t sit back and wait for them to call you...One thing about SE, you don't get what you want unless you ask for it...

I looked the other day. thinking back I believe they(the 16) were mostly in the western extremes of our area. Don't know why they were seperated though.

Thanks. I am going to have to do that. I am trying to talk the wife into going south again. These northern winters are horrible.
