Just a heads up. If you were told you were transfering to a new terminal at a certain place on the board and your decision to uproot your family was based on that spot, you better call your new terminal manager to comfirm the spot you were likely told when you made your decision. Highly likely you have fallen many spots on the board.
 
You are saying this why??? To stir up more CRAP. Is this based in anything or just rumor. Why don't you just leave things alone and let us enjoy Christmas.
 
I was originally told I would be 30 on TER's board. Just got word I am OFFICIALLY 26.

No, dont dog this guy....he knows the truth! Not just him, but the "Company" can, and will, change their way they handle people through this merger. If you are a transfer, before uprooting your family, selling your house, etc..... Be sure you have a job, get it in writing, not just verbal, numbers change in pre shifts all the time........I nailed down my CM when he said 25 were coming over, then said 27 were coming..... in another pre shift..... when will it stop?, I mean your talking about a 28 - 30 % in workforce addition, in a time of the year when levels are generally slow. Sure their accounts will add some volume, but hey...... we cant just drive around town looking for something to do...... somebody has to go home......
What burns my butt is that I have all this vacation time, but I cant take it because of all the old hands who have taken the good days, but hey, Id do the same thing, but when the merger takes over.......guess what, its gonna be worse! HA HA HA
Oh well, I still have a job ...... right?

I haven't bothered to ask but, I'm not moving to another town either. Why ask? It would be nice to know but, it would probably be BS anyway
 
I am sure some position numbers will change now they are telling people who have been planing for months to take the buy out, now they need them , go try to plan something
 
Why are so many drivers getting fired? lost a city guy in stl a couple weeks ago--some do need to go, but others really don;t.

I'm sorry the next time i'll think of you when i bid on MY vacation,who are you?so I can give you my vacation spot.ya right;they (fedex) are'nt trying to screw any of us,they are to big of a company with a big reputation to be wanting to harm anybody,some cm's are screwing up and maybe latter they will fix them.

TER guys were accident and tickets I think safety got the 3rd guy but I'm not for certain on the last one. Every person that I know that has been fired has been done justly and not out to just get rid of people. Not saying it hasn't happened somewhere.

We all live and die by choices. I only new the one personally. Real good guy with a young family. They actually just disqualified him.

You might just check. What he is talking about is a lot of people were told as a displaced person if you come here you will be # whatever on our board. Now they are being told we misunderstood the rules you have just dropped 10-15 spots you no longer have a bid your on the bottom of the extra board. They were also told the same thing by the HR Fool that came to there terminal now he says everyone at the terminal misunderstood him. Do you think you might have done something different if you had been giving the right information, by the way Harrison says you can't back out you singed the transfer you would be quiting. So see if that crap makes these people have a happy Christmas.
 
The thing I don't understand is why force a guy somewhere ? Let's say in KCY they needed 50 drivers for city and EKC needed 100 well those numbers are changing everyday. So those of us that chose KCY but are forced to EKC they are telling guys that they are staying at KCY and going to the bottom of the board even though they signed a job offer to go to EKC and they have seniority at EKC they are saying nope you stay at KCY and will be at the bottom ? Why not ask the guys that want to stay instead of force. I'm forced to double my drive to EKC and would be happy to stay at KCY at the bottom which is where I am now ! Confused yet ??? And there are guys ahead of me that want to go but have to stay. what a mess .... I'll say it too .... Thanks Fred . I'm Fred up lol couldn't help myself. Merry Christmas

I hate to sound like others on here but this place does not care. Do what we tell you and like it, then tomorrow when we change it again, you will like it to, but remember nothing on paper we can change as we want to and are not held accountable. I don't mind taking responsibility for what choices I make just give me the right information to make them on.

What give you something that makes since. We can't do that. We enjoy the fact that everyone is pissed off at each other and love the fact we are disrupting your family life.May even be taking a few years off your life for the stress.I know for one I seem to not get along with the wife since all this crap started and she doesn't understand the goings on and its impossible to explain it.First I don't hate my job. Been doing it for 20 + years 18 of them here. But the management has run the moral into the ground. I understand its a corporation but you just have robots sinking the ship. I say a happy camper is more productive the a miserable one.
