Abe Lincoln said "if the private sector can do it let them but if the people need it and the private sector cannot it is goverments job to provide it." It seems that the private sector can't handle the load these days due to all the corporate greed. Capitalism is not just take, you have to give something back to society.
 
That is a good history, but you forgot 1983 when Ray Stewart was forced out by the Powells and they brought in Goerge the Third. That is when the doward spiral started. I worked for the old YFI back then and got transfered to the G.O. in 1986.

Now that we got it we want it..don't take it away. Majority don't want Gov run Health Care, $9,000,000,000,000 is a hefty deficit in 10 yrs. Gov only knows 1 thing..borrow..cause it ain't their money-it's taxpayers money:hissyfit::hissyfit::hissyfit::hissyfit::hissyfit::hissyfit::hissyfit:[

It’s a matter of priorities, we spend trillions on foreign aid to countries that will never pay us back, wars to liberate people that hate us and wish us dead, trade deficits so the rich corporations can make billions shipping our jobs away, medical bills for veterans and seniors so overpriced it would make your head spin looking at just one of them. And the list goes on and on. I say healthcare for an American citizen should be a god given right.
