I lost My father on May 18th of 2009 due to Cancer. He drove for ST. Johnsbury Trucking Co. out of North Reading Ma. Terminal until they closed there doors in 1993. My father then went on to work for New Penn trucking Co. until he retired in 1998 moved to florida. As a child growing up my father would enter himslf in the truck rodeos and one a few times and then went onto nationals. My father was my best friend my hero. His handle was Monty Hall and his name is DAle F. Cressy so if anyone reads this and your sitting down watching Nascar a patriots game or red sox game and having a beer cheer for him a very loyal new englander even when he moved to florida was a very proud man father and grandfather. He left behind 3 daughters 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. We love and miss him very much.....

Thank you for letting me share...:

I worked for St. J, but I left in 92 before the company went under. Was your dad an over the road driver? The name Cressy sounds familiar, that's why I ask. I just lost my brother less than a month ago, very very suddenly. It's going to take a long time to heal. Bless you and your family. Mary Jane

hi

yes he drove back and forth from north reading to PA his handle was monty hall also we have kept in contact with a couple of people like Joe Fortin chuck durfy and i remember a couple of the guys bob carney bobby truscello and john guilliver I don't know if you knew them. I'm so sorry about your loss also. It will take alot of time but as long as we do something good in memory of there name will make us feel better. My family and I have set up a scholorship fund from his hometown school for a student applying to college in memory of my father. My fahter still had alot of shirts and swaetshirts trucks and alot of pictures from St. Johnsbury over the years. Best of luck to you and your family... God Bless
