TForce | question, stewards worthless

i cant get a straight answer from a steward and my business agent is harder to get in contact with then jimmy hoffa sr

a full timer told me this and im trying to figure out if its true

we have had problems with them kicking part timers (me) off the dock after only about 5 hours, while city drivers who came in earlier was still working the dock

i know they got seniority, but a guy told me that since they are working out of there classification it means they shouldnt be able to kick dockworkers off the dock while drivers are still working the dock

it also makes no sense because most of use dock worker make between 10.50-13 an hour and the city drivers who come in are all at top pay, making around 23 an hour

That's how it goes. When have the time in someday that will be you seniority is everything and when you are casual full timers can work before you. You are like temp. worker. Someday you will be fulltime just hang in there.

roadmen work ahead of part timers also.

if they are on straight time they can do it .

part time is what it is part time.
