FedEx Freight | cookout this week

Ours is today. Ground guy came in and said all they got was muffins. I wonder if all opco's were doing this? I know we were allowed to spend up to $10 per person. If they are the same his boss's must be saving the remainder for steaks and beer after work :biglaugh:

I heard the SCM's were allowed $10-$12 per associate in a e-mail from L.M. Don't take this comment as being ungrateful, but our SCM did close to nothing. Frozen burgers, hotdogs, chips and soda. I'm disgusted by the lack of effort. I think the G.O. was attempting to send a positive message through this allowance which is normally not any where near that amount. I guess it speaks volumns about SOME of our leadership. Well on a positive note I personally appreciate all of the associates that put forth there best foot to make this company successful!!! Hope you all enjoyed your cookouts.

cold and overcooked hamburgers & brats. The office personel must of ate like kings all day.(they should call it office personel apreciation day). It's been laying in the foil pan for who knows how long. Thanks but no thanks. Besides that, they want to make sure your off the clock if you grab some food. When I punch out it's "ADIOS AMIGOS".

WOW we got a cold breakfast biscuit thrown on the break room table in two brown paper bags. Our center mgr couldn't even be bothered to pick up anything to drink.
My wifes day off I walked in the door and could smell chicken baking in the oven at 0930.I know where I am appreciated.

We also had catered BBQ. When the late starters got to the terminal the food was almost gone. The next day the terminal secretary asked me if there was enough food left for the last six late starters. I told her there wasn't much left. Ms. "K" always takes good care of her drivers. She had set aside some food for us in the dispatch office. The FLC as usual had his head up that dark and scary spot and didn't tell us about the food. I got to take home two plates. Enough for me and my main squeeze. Thanks FXF, and Thanks MS " K" your the best. I wonder if YRC went hungry? TP
