ABF | City drivers

It's a lot better system than what was first introduced and may be still in use in some smaller areas. At least with the newer style forklift you can drive in gravel and grass without getting stuck. I don't mind using the forklift but I do have a problem with the length of the flatbed. It's a little hard to maneuver in some residential areas such as apartment complexes and neighborhoods. I end up driving on lots of curbs!!!:TR10driving03:
 
I use the flatbed at term 231 in NJ. I too would like to see them reduce the trlr length to 40 ft and hang the lift on the rear. it would be easier to get around the tight areas and it would hold a maximum 6 cubes instead of 5 now.
