FedEx Freight | new bids pretty soon???

stuck it to us again

In Harrisburg it would have been nice to tell us at the bottom ahead of time so we could look for other jobs. When the new bids come out and the bottom guys drop 20 to 30 spots because of the lack of team runs....how will they have jobs? No one is saying a word but you know that's the case. Management...be honest!!!

Come on now. Why would they tell you ahead of time? we are just a number to them. If they told you before hand they would have to replace people for a short time when they quit. Thats why if your smart you would already be looking for another job if you think your doomed
 
I wouldn't start looking for new jobs. Just wait to see how many new additional bids you will have at your center. I think there are going to be many happy people Monday morning when the bids go up.
 
Was told by a team driver in DTX that we will have no BID teams in DTX all of the 5 team runs that remain will be wild. Also we now will have 3 laydowns to ETX plus our meets with them. Also runs going Ruston La. to meet whom I don't know.
 
Orlando got cut to 24 bids. All single. Looked like about 8 slots for wild teams. How that divides up between 60 drivers will be interesting. Posting said bids wouldn't start untill Feb 14 to give time for transfers. Maybe the guys left out to dry will get offered other locations. I hope so.
 
This is what CHR got 53 singles,30 single extra and yes I said 30 single extra,14 extra teams. No bid team runs. Here is the run down, 4 CHR to NWK, 2 CHR to PHI, 3CHR to MPS, these are all layover runs. Now for the day runs, 7 CHR to ATA, 5 CHR to NWV, 4 CHR to WVC, 5 CHR to LXV, 2 CHR to RHL, 2 CHR to WMV, 2 CHR to CVA, 3 CHR to BUR and then to ASH or GRV, 1 CHR to WAL, 1 CHR to BEC, 6 CHR to DAN, 1 back to back CHR to GRV, 1 CHR to EMP, 1 CHR to RAL, 2 CHR to RVA, 1 CHR to KXV, So thats it. I really don't understand how we ended up with so little being were we are located but I guess I don't see the big picture.

35 new singles and don't know about teams....I did hear MHI ( Mountain Home Id)got 6 new singles
 
Well it seems that only the top 30 drivers at HSB have bids,all others will have to go on ex broad, Out of around 170,Also everything up north ,Boston,Hartford ,North reading mass,will be out of Hartford again ,also the teams wont have any bids,all ex board runs for these teams.Alot of **** off drivers there at HSB. Maybe cut out all this delay time waiting around?There still hiring drivers there,and at the drop yard out Pittsburgh-SPA- for the loads coming from out west .

I know that CHR had a lot of team bids that carried San Bernie freight. From what you posted, it appears that those are not being covered by the any of the new solo bids. Guess its possible that the wild teams will sill carry that freight when CHR has it. Or contractors will carry it.

That was my understanding, They are also waiting to see when the gorge is going to open and then we may get some more runs, I hope I hope. But we are also having trouble with safety letting us run to memphis. They say we can't run it legal down to Atlanta and across but we all know we can and the Dandrige runs their saying won't run because Nashville doesn't have the man power yet so that would put about another 9 or 10 drivers on the extra board.
