You're absolutely right, it's all scare tactics...the Chicago vote is not gonna close down this company, THIS COMPANY is gonna close down this company. And if they wanted to, they would have done it already. This is just a little strongarm action, both by the company AND the union.....
 
It's ludicris to think that if Chicago votes no, it will be a serious reason to close the doors. Yes, it will be a nice excuse for Dollar Bill to spew at every microphone he sees but come on, YRC is backed into the corner and can't be saved by bell. Their cut man has done all he can do and its time for the decision.

This is not a Teamster Union action. No Teamster official sanctions it.

Ya, that is what Chicago is betting on..actually betting on two things

1.They want to be the proudest in the land when everyone else buckled

2.They know it would be too costly if not impossible to work around Chicago.

3.That is a fact

4. Pension and 5% cost-$24 million dollars

If it closes are you afraid to work elsewhere? I say do what you're gonna do. Are 3 no votes not good enough? Why do they even bother to vote? Why don't they pay whatever profit is left over each week? After $Bill gets his $40k a week of course.
 
If YRC goes down how many dock jobs are there in the Chicago area that pays twenty dollars an hour :TR10driving03::bicycle:

Amen to the Bothers in Chicago.....Stand tall for the rest of the cowards across the country and T Johnson is no brother of the real Teamsters in Chicago.

From Hoffa all the way to the bottom of that do nothing leadership I feel embarrassed to say I supported them in the past but NO MORE we need to remove this crap….
