Yellow | Management takes another "temp" pay cut

So we are going to need you to work harder, we are going to mismanage you into the wall oh and the really good news is your going to get less pay for it. Let's all gather around the water cooler at the G.O. and sing "Kumbaya".

Oh, and one of the posts were correct in that the non-union employees took earlier permanent cuts and had no union protection. I would have been one of those.
 
I would be suprised if any dispatcher, dock foreman or salesman is not actively looking for another job.

This company treats it's managers like ::shit:: when things were going good. No 401 K, no pension, :shit:ty working conditions, and now ::shit:: ty pay.

Why would anyone stay on a sinking ship?? Granted the job market stinks but keep looking..

At least Teamsters still have the hope (albeit fading) of a pension.

Remember He is an Impasta. Last I heard he was UP in Alaska Recruiting Eskamos to move to the Windy city to replace some Mexicans that moved south for the winter to cover the missing work force. (Disclaimer nothing againist Eskamos I just couldn't think of anyone else who might want to move to Chitown???) LOL
 
Matter of time? There is not one prescription on the market that can cure me. That was just a little of spaghetti 101. I guess people never heard me in action on the cb radio before, because I can always put on a good show. I can talk like an Arabian, African-American, Italian collecting union dues, a woman, a lost oriental, and a southern country boy. This is like a channel 19/33 radio website, only without the swearing and hearing the voices.
 
I got the management cuts list for Chicago available. I will even do the, Ken "The Hawk" Harroldson's (Chicago White Sox announcer) impersonation. HE GONE!

Do the new paycuts suprise you? They have to do something to show some better 4th quarter numbers.. And as far as the management side getting their 401k/pension contributions stopped earlier than the union side you forget one thing. Management didn't complain when they racked up profit sharing and such when things were good, while the union side had to fight for a 40 cent raise. You also can take your pension/401k with you if things go belly up. We can't touch any money in our pension fund and we may even lose what we earned....This is not a post to start us against them, its just giving my view on both sides. And pretty much both sides are getting screwed in the end

Profit sharing? Yeah... only management... the rest of us non-union folks didn't so much as get a "thank you" when they got their checks... :clap:

Both of those are things the union set up... while the pay raise was tiny, it was more than twice the raise I got at the same time... and the pension... yeah... that really sucks for you guys... hind sight is 20/20 and what looked good back when it was all set up has proven to be very flawed...

As for my pic of the pig head... it seems to be much harder to find one of a pig's back quarter on a stick than the head :biglaugh:
