I saw the Memo on our New Years work week.....It says... Meet and Turns will run 4 days which means if you run a evening or night bid you will not get in until New Years Morning...

Watch out for the Drunks and the Idiots Guys...

kind of a catch-22.. if u don't run the freight New Years Eve, there would be a bunch of people upset that their 3 day weekend was broken up to run the freight for service on Monday.

I agree that New Years Eve has it's own problems.

So what's better- running it New Years eve and having a long weekend, or coming back in Sunday night to run it for service on Monday? Which would u prefer?

I'd just as soon work New Year's Eve and get it over with. Coming in last year on Sunday night kind of stunk.

I think I remember that this is the way Watkins ran on New Years holiday.

I must have just got luckie, because I never had to run on New Years eve or Day once I got on a single bid.

I always take off between Christmas and New Years.
