Central Transport | Log book

The Company is telling you they are putting you "off duty" at terminals when you are not working. What is soooooo hard to understand about that? Look it's your job. Go ahead a be bullheaded and on your next job, maybe you will understand.

are you kidding me? you honestly think that because the company tells you to log off duty while you are waiting after you have been told to report for work that you should do it? this is equivalent to speeding, not using your turn signal, improper lane usage etc,it is all illegal period. if the company gave you written permission to blow your terminal managers head off ,however useful that might be it isnt legal either. sometimes larmar we have to take a little higher road than the company and use some common sense, dot regs are the final say to anyone with a commercial license.

Ask some of the big riggers when you see them at the truck stop if they have a card in their wallets from their employer giving them permission to log off duty time. But hey why educate yourself.... it's just a job. You can always find another, in fact I seen an ad for Schneider in the paper every weekend. So no worries.

I had one, but i wasnt trapped at the terminal and could call a cab or bobtail to where i wanted for dinner without anyone telling me i couldnt leave.
