ABF | Arkansas Best officials not focused on YRC troubles

In discussions with our District Sales Manager, I have found than Conway, Saia, FedEx & UPS are the biggest competiters ABF has. While YRC is still the largest single LTL carrier, the 4 carriers listed above are the true competition.

I would have to agree with your statement. They are not afraid of cutting rates to get the business. Something that ABF will not do.
 
What about Buster Brown buying the Bull Frog once this economy gets up and running? They can always just cut a check. ABF is NOT a large company

They paid teamsters 6.4 billion to get out of the pension....

Do you really think they would want to buy back into that again??

That was the Best 6.4 billion they ever spent...good for them (the company) and a train wreck for teamsters.
