I have an app. in at the Greer SC Term. How long will it take to check and contact me (Aprox). And what is start pay city and line haul. Got laid off(not union)Went out of biss.Been working for peanuts for a year.Thanks a lot for everything.
 
Took me approx 2 weeks, I will tell you if money is your focus and you can do it go linehaul, if you have family and enjoy doing stuff together take the city. I have been with them for 3 months working the dock, had a chance for a linehaul bid and passed it up, guess who is sorry now.
 
Thanks dlance71, I just put my app. in 1/4/11 which term do you work at? I can handle the line haul i guess probably 5 days out at longest.What is start pay. I hope they call me.There is a AAA cooper term. Just a block down. They are taking apps too, for a city/dock. Any other OD driver's input appreciated.
 
Welcome to the OD forum ironhead P/D payis gonna start in the neighborhood of 20.00 per hour,linehaul 44.cpm,good luck!
 
Line haul is generaly Mon-Sat night, home every day, off weekends and holidays. P&D starts at $18.50. line haul is $.44 CPM. It took me 2 months before I was contacted after I submitted my application and it was well worth the wait.
 
Just take whatever is available that will keep you busy the most. P/D will get you money in the bank if they can give you a full weeks pay. Also if there's times you want more cash, you can always work weekends at your own decision. I've done team and line but have been doing P/D ever since I made my last transfer. I dont have a family, but I just enjoy getting out of the truck for some exercise otherwise my diabetes and BP was going to take control of me staying on the road.
