Eventhough it wasn't our driver that was envolved. It still makes the whole industry look even worse in the eyes of the "HATERS". Thoughts and prayers to the family.
 
I spotted the story over the weekend and it was very misleading and they didn't say anything other than it was truck vs car that was a fatality and that the truck driver was watching a x rated video. And all they showed was backed up traffic and the Con-way and UPS trucks at the head of the traffic jam. They shouldn't have released the story the way they did but its out there now. Left wing journalism, not much truth but sure looks good.
 
Does the law require that you stop and call the police if you hit a deer?My wife hit and killed one recently and she just kept driving.
 
Most, if not all, insurance companies want a report before paying out a claim in cases like this. And maybe the deer was left in the road, the driver thought it needed to be removed before someone else had a wreck? Maybe she needed a wrecker also. Glad your wife is ok. Around here the deer are thick on the roads during certain times of the day/year. I had a small fawn running down the road in front of me before he finally went into woods. My son was sitting at a stop sign when a big buck jumped a fence hit the side of his truck, rolled around and shattered driver side window with antlers. Put some pretty good side dents in the truck.
