So how did everyone do with all the changes that were implemented this time around. I am curious to know how many men and women transferred, how many drivers left linehaul for the city, and were there any drivers that left the city to go to linehaul?

I also hear there are issues with FXF drivers who regained seniority for this bid cycle and jumped ahead of FXNL drivers. Did this happen all over or was this an isolated incident?

Just curious overall how everything has gone and who is ready to go. I know some terminals had to hire so many drivers that it will take a couple months before everyone is in place. I am sure there are other places that will be on board come Feb 14th. It is nice to see Hartford will open back up. Hopefully folks that left during the first realignment are able to go back and be with their families.

Lets hear some chatter on this subject drivers!
 
I for one am headed back to HRT. It was not an easy decision, but I felt if I ever was going to go back, the time was now. The people at ABN have been great, and I will miss working with all of them. Yes, I will be closer to my family and friends, but this decision is a real crap shoot. I remember that Labor Day Weekend in 06 when The purple promise banner went up at HRT. We were all reassured over a weekend of all the steaks we could eat that nothing was going to change. Not long afterwards the rumors started. HRT would close. We were all repeatedly told not to worry. The rumors were certainly not true. When we noticed that we had no uniforms and all the other linehaul operations had them, a mock measuring session took place, to calm our fears. When certain people in management put their houses up for sale, we were told they were just transfering to other terminals for whatever reason. When some of the mechanics working in the shop began to leave we noticed no one was hired to take their place. We were told there was a hiring freeze in place. As the rumors flew there was a big linehaul managers meeting in Florida. Our LHM returned from this meeting telling us about all the great new runs we were going to get at the next bid. It wasn't long after that we all received THE NOTICE FedEx'ed to our houses. HRT was done. Around 100 people either transfered or lost their jobs......So yes, I am heading back, but I do so feeling like a jilted lover who has been reassured by my partner that this time will be different. She will never, ever cheat on me again. Time will tell, I guess.
 
Slk had 3 0or 4 P&D put in transferrs for L/H....1 Slk driver is going to Sidney and no one transferred into SLK...They still need more than 30 drivers as I understand it.....MHI had 2 transfer in and 1 leave for SRT....They need 7 plus 2 extra board in MHI...

SRT looked very tempting. How many drivers did they have running out of SRT before this bid?
 
CHR had 2 go to benson AZ and 1 maybe 2 to Knoxville. Thats all I know about so far. They told us they were going to rebid those runs that those guys took during the bid process. When I don't know.

Benson has been open at least since last bid cycle. 2 drivers from Orlando transferred there last time around. Its my understanding that Benson had 16 daytime runs and 18 night time runs. CHR had 2 drivers transfer to Benson, 2 went to Knoxville and 2 went to Richmond. 6 people in total transferred. Out of those that transferred only 2 had single bids. The rest were wild solo or wild team. There will probably just be a bump bid. Remember this is CHR that we are talking about. We did not have a single rebid last time around, even when it was blatantly obvious that we should have. So don't hold your breathe this time around.
 
bids for hrt

there are 19 day time bids out of hrt starts at 0700 and ends at 10 am one night bid at 10pm and 4 wild bid at 9pm They have 5 line haul divers now 4 p&d drives move to line haul 3divers coming back to hrt 1from aby 2 from hsb so 12 bids have been filled 7 will be filled by new driver also they need 30 dock worker and 3to5 office worker 20 trucks 100 pups 2 yard trucks the shop is up and runnig and fueling is also there

How many of their day time bids are filled?
