Whats going on with the city drivers at 309? how if any have been called back ?
Why would they do that? YRC forces road drivers to make pick-ups at different rail yards in Chicago. Only if road drivers have 3 or 4 hrs left to work for that day.

i wont deny i liked rdway and i wish that i could feel the same about yrc but there no comparison yrc is not rdway yrc doesnt run like rdway did, why is this so hard to understand if you saw more yellow terminations its because alot of roadways people were let go befor the merger, i thought i could retire from roadway but with yrc ill be lucky if i ever get called back to work, yrc needs new leadership the only thing we as a union company have to offer is our service and if we cant get there on time someone else will. pasta you say some good things but when you get on these propaganda rants and false practices by either company it doesnt help anyone
Want to have some fun with the YRC Management next time going into work? Ask a cordinator, driver foreman, or a TM. Why our company refuses to perform (reverse logistics) and why our management doesn't choose (to resist of suboptimizing) YRC? If they look at you like they don't know what your talking about. It pretty much proves that YRC Management are uneducated and how they are unproperly operating a trucking company and terminal into handling a Global Economy.

I hope that Ford sports car that I saw broke down on 394 and the US 30 ramp wasn't yours. Especially, with a Ford Plant being only a block away. Not a good place for a Mustang GT 500 to break down at. Must of been on the way to work. :biglaugh:

Well I guess the only silver lineing in working at 309 is after ya leave this life your all guaranrred a place in heaven because you all served time in hell. Ya got to wonder what kinda man / management goes to work with the intent on how he can make trouble for as many people as he can . :duel:

Yeah I know that its YRC now but its still ran by those no nothings from the big R . I worker with a city driver for over 30 plus years at Yellow Freight and in all that time he got only 1 letter which was some meaningless bullshit that they ended up expunging off his record . Now this same guy got 2 in like the 1st. month at the heights [some petty ::shit:: .] Personally I feel that people in management that conduct business in this manor have an inferior feeling about their selves . They have to play tough guy at work because when they get home at night the old lady is going to give them hell ,they can't deal with life so they take out on somone with less authority . Just me , my thoughts on the matter not trying to be little any one this dos not reflect in anyway the opinion of T/B. :duel:

you can blame big r management all you want but this nonsense didnt start until the merger, whose to blame i dont know but i imagine corporate has alot to do with these new policys that are causing so many write-ups, from my view when zollars put yellow and roadway under yrcw and made yrcw a holding company they stopped caring about either company, ive said this befor but yrc runs nothing like roadway did or yellow so how can you blame big r for yrcw lack of foresight in the economy,

It didn't happen til after the merger? Yeah, 309 didn't establish an inbound/outbound sheet til after the merger, maybe. I had a hard time trying to figure out these "********" from 309. How come they never filed grievances on anything?

I would have these drivers that I don't even know come over and tell me not to mess with certain management personnel at 309. :biglaugh: Yeah, and thats not a sign of brain-washed material? I bet that didn't happen until after the merger too, right?

I like how the grievance sheets were locked in the cabinet in the break room. So nobody could have access in getting one. I had to ask for permission from a T. Stroger-appointed union steward if he could get me one, and the reply I got was I wasn't going to need one and I wouldn't win that claim.

If people notice why the cabinet lock is broken, I was the one that kicked it open. Now everyone has access to the grievance sheets and the maps to foreign YRC terminals. Just like "Fonzy" from "Happy Days" used his fist to open things up, Italian Style uses his foot just like the "Good Old Days" from Yellow Freight. A little badda bing/badda boom action. See that, everything is fine now. Oh course I forced to take some drug tests for a couple of days, but it didn't bother me. I don't mind making the extra money.

If anyone wants those Yellow Freight Log books the ones without the carbon copies in them, let me know. I have 2 full boxes of them that were given to me by Mary S. from CGB/301, a while back.

Zollars was trying to build the greatest trucking company, the economy went bad, everything went to hell. The problem is people from Yellow think that it is Roadway policy in place," THIS IS SO FAR FROM THE TRUTH"!!!

ive never known 309 to not have inbound/outbound sheets in fact i got distracted once and forgot to sign out and guess what my phone started ringing and it was a steward asking why i didnt sign out. why do you keep repeating the same bull, it doesnt do anyone any good

To Spiracer : Nobody from Yellow is blaming the Big R for the economy ,what they are blaming them for is being a bunch of ::shit:: heads that don't know how to treat it's employees and there for moral is down and so goes production . Yellow never had that mind set fact is I was with Yellow when they sent management to a school in Ohio on how to work with employees . Yellow never had a bad reputation for being anti worker . Unfortunately Roadway and UPS have a bad reputation in the trucking industry for being hostel to their employees . Did ya ever wonder how much money they **** away on bullshit warning letters per week or how much back pay they pay out because of their bullshit when they loose a grievance over some nonsense?
A steward called you? :biglaugh: Yeah right. Are you trying melv my mind like Mr. Spock, or are trying to use the force? Sorry to disappoint you, but that brain-washing ::shit:: only works on the weak minded individuals, or the 309 "Roadbots."

yep a steward called me and gave me an earful, there so much to be upset about this whole deal theres no point in making things up theres enough issues allready
