Expect a backlash, however don't get too excited when it comes. I can guarantee they had a hit list they were holding back on til afterward so as not to make people mad.
 
Now they will probably take a page out of yrc's play book, just ask for a smaller piece of your pie. T.J. will be showing up at a terminal near you to tell you how they will shut the doors if they can't have another vote.

obviously you were a yes vote--- well you can still write abf a check for $7500.00 a year for the next 3 years im sure they will be happy to take it --- if you believe that strongly in it then step up and show us no voters how its done

Fr8holler, I'll take a $100 on that bet. But I'll only expect you to put up $85 since you no doubt didn't have the backbone to vote no on your consessions.

[/quote] This give back wasn't going to be used to discount freight, genius. That question was asked directly and the response was that is not the ABF way of doing business. This was just so that their stockholders would smile with fatter pockets. :chairshot:
 
I agree. I asked this same question on several different levels. All we would have done is make the balance sheet look better for the share holders. A direct quote from management. "we will not use this wage cut to cut rates, we are already operating in the red, we want it to keep the system running."
