Brookline,PA./this is an odd 1/Semi Stopped on a hill due to mechanical issues.

I'm still trying to figure out how the idiot even made the turn off state route 51. Must have taken up both southbound lanes and one northbound.

The road he got stuck on is a two lane residencial road. It leads to the business district of Brookline. Nothing but mom and pop stores and bars there. That road is 2 miles from my house and 2 miles from my parents house. I grow up in Brookline(it is part of the City of Pittsburgh). Why on earth he would even try and use that road is behond me.

I also show the truck and trailer leaving the impound lot were he was towed to on my way home from work today. The impound lot and towing company that the city uses is at the bottom of the hill from me. They must have fixed the truck.
I still say that he was following a GPS.

Homes were evacuated in the area of this Semi's break down.

When I was a city driver I always carried 2 wheel chocks in my assigned day cab.
Yes they did come in handy many times in my trucking career.

Quickest and handiest scotches ever were the spare tires under the trailer. Two if you we carrying
different sizes (20" to 22" changover years). In the old bunker and blower produce reefer days the
little 2 gallon gas can for the putt putt engine sloshed on the spare and lit kept a few people from freezing in the Dakotas.
Nice smudge to attract distant farm house interest also. Help would come.
