[/quote]Good luck on your decision. Is a LOA till the end of the year out of the question?

Take a LOA! They can't say no unless if it's for a non union ltl carrier and how they'd even know that is beyond me. If anything, it gives you more time to sort things out and you'll likely be helping a junior man. Where's 211?

I would say to take the leave of absence, because you can always leave your new job December 31st and return to YRC next year. It is my understanding that the leave can be taken to work anywhere now, and even if it isn't, how are they going to know unless you tell them. It's not their business whether you go work for a non-union competitor or go work for McDonalds. I used the leave earlier this year and came back in April, but since they laid me off and on several times since then, I may be using the leave of absence again, if I can find something better, which it sounds like you have found. So congratulations and good luck, you have nothing to lose since you can always come back.

Too bad you can't work in 211 mgmt. They get paid to do absolutely zero...

From what I know, there at July and August of 99.If thats helps. I have September,I am guessing 13 to 15 from getting called back.
