Latest "money saver"...close all truck washes.
I think we should take that initiative further and save money on uniform washings by wearing dirty ones for at least three days before changing. On a company-wide basis, this should save thousands of dollars. Maybe even enough to pay for chicken lunches for everyone!
Also, if your uniform is going to smell funny anyway, you should probably not shower until the fourth day when you finally put on a clean one.
Apparently, customers are not affected by filthy equipment, so they will not be adversely affected by filthy drivers.
What happened to "appearance counts"?? I guess that doesn't apply to the giant billboards we back up to a customer's dock EVERY DAY!

P.S. To anyone with managements' ear...how about keeping washes open just M, W, F year-round? Just saved 40% on your wash budget. No charge, your sincere appreciation is enough.
