Does anyone know of a list I can obtain of non- union companies that have gone out of business since 1979.
I've searched Google with no results. This list will be used for organizing purposes.

If you can remember any non union trucking company that has gone out of business. Please PM me with the names.

sounds about right . organizing companys that are out of business . lol . none that are still in business would be interested in paying dues to earn less .
 
If you want to try and organize your company, thats a fine idea. Just don't go with the teamsters, they were topshelf in their day but now only care about getting public service jobs and their own enrichment.
I'd like to recommend again, the ABWA, Amalgamated Basket Weavers of America!!! Great outfit and will answer the phone if you call with a problem, never, "They're all in a meeting", or, "They're all out of town on business"(thats if anybody even answers the phone)! Try it, you'll like it!

Once again you have made my day brighter with your hilarious advice ...your in the wrong business ...maybe you could start your own union up and declare yourself president .....
 
Wasent there an article a while back saying 800 or 900 trucking co. Have closed due to the recession? Im sure most are not union, so if u want to make a case that not only union co go bankrupt , shouldint be hard to prove.
