Anybody from Ground tell me why ya'll are pullin ABF trailers?? Been seein several across I-70 between DAY and STL. Just curious!!

If they were new they might be delivering them.Its not uncommon for a carrier to use a trailer one time and drop it off on the other end.

I have seen them on I44 in MO&OK also. ABF is always the lead pup.

It was like 2 years ago there was a picture on the yrc forum of them pulling an ABF trailer in a set..... I was distributing it to the drivers of them companies, telling them there was going to be a buy-out...WHY PASS UP A GOOD OPPORTUNITY......For a little muck raking....it's good fun.

Several years ago Yellow was pulling new FedEx Freight trailers to the west coast from KC.

About 7 or 8 years ago when I worked for R&L we would take Watkins trailers to the east coast from Ohio.

Sometimes it's the lead sometimes it's the rear and I have even seen both trailers ABF. Their not new ones.

I occasionally see old dominion pulling 3 on the pike with one being abf
