Estes | State of the company meeting 8/17/11

I imagine they are going to talk about our increases since most of the others have gotton theirs already. They are probably going to thank us for or patience and understanding of the the things we don't get that others do. They are probably going to tell us why they feel we are the #1 ltl company in the country. They will probably mention the great running equipment they bought and turning them up fast enough to safely pass someone. They may also talk about reducing the amount of Covenant drivers that's hauling our frieght.
 
Might also be handing out out a trip for four for each employee at Disney world with a box of decent cigars.

You really need to look into rehab,Dew....Our insurance will cover it...
 
They'll say no raises cause os+d and accident costs have been too much lately.(Same as last year). Also, keep up the great work in spite of the slow freight conditions lately. Likely will talk about the new trailers and please don't tear em up right away.

It may just be a combination of a few things ..... carisoprodol, percocet, loratab, ambien and miller lites. Certain times of the day I should stay away from this keyboard. Lol

I'm just repeating some highlights from the last meeting. You know the saying/ Expect the worst and hope for the best.

Don't forget that the economy is still in the :shit:ter and they had to fund the start up of E street delivery as well
 
What ever is mentioned at the state of the company i will be thankful we are having a state of co. address, i might not always agree with things that go on but i am proud to be here at estes.
 
We are getting increases but its still unclear on how much. Don't worry about the torn up ::shit::. That stuff is figured in with the rate by percentage and the excessive torn up ::shit:: goes into the tax wite off account and if theirs not enough write offs, they will find some.
Lots of rumors about UPS buying us. That's bullshit
 
You'll get a damn good plastic coated prescription card the 1st month after 90 days of employment. After a trip to the Dr. and several ounces of big E koolaid you'll be just like the rest of us :hide::guinesssmilie:
 
The only bright picture we're going to get Mildew is how MR.BIG-E is turning the company over to JR & how he's going to STICK UP EVERYBODY'S ASS. We aint going to get ::shit:: out of this , if anything we're going to loose ::shit::, like more PC day's, 401K , Holiday's & no pay raises. AW but insurance cost so much more so we have to pass this along to you< a 20% increase>.Now is this a BRIGHT PICTURE OR NOT?

Driver your drunk. JR is not a young man. Maybe 30 years ago. JR is thinking about beaches and a lawn chair not taking over a company.
